Ghost 04:41
Verse 1: I can see the end The end of the line The hook & bait are gone The knot is untied And its perfectly clear that I’m not what you want I’m a ghost at best without a house to haunt Chorus: Ooooohhh is this really how it ends? What ever happened to all of my friends? Verse 2: Pinned in by the walls The walls that you built No remorse, no cares, no guilt If I try to escape will i know what to do? Is it better to stay and take the abuse from you? Chorus Bridge: I awake most nights with anxiety & fright cause there’s a looming day and it’s too late to say we can fix you oh, we can’t fix you But i hope and i dream for a change in the scene look for cracks in the road or a break in the mold there’s a new idea that i won’t remember That solves all the questions that soon will render me a ghost….

Although you’ve been handed a ship to the stars did you forget who & what that you are? Did you trade in your skin for scales? Have you grown yourself a bifurcated tail? Because no one who is truly human would ever do the things that you're doing now. When you poison the water you pollute all the fruit. i don’t trust a man always wearing a suit. They’ll be no one left to cash all your checks, written by the short sighted, stupid gits. Because no one who is truly human would ever do the things that you're doing now. How can you live your life a lie?

The Point 02:56
Is it true that the fables are turning into everyday life? A real turn of the tables. Sneaking up on your blind side. Your eyes never let you lie. I’m calling you on your bluff, ‘cause I’ve reached the point where I’ve finally had enough! Carry on like a prisoner serving out the rest of his life. Never shout at your listeners. They’re only trying to get your advice. Don’t count on luck to be on your side, ‘cause I know that the road is rough. I’ve reached the point where I’ve finally had enough! Never thought I’d lose my mind, but the lunatics have taken over! Give me good ol’ isolation because the ignorant are getting bolder. Don’t count on luck to be on your side, ‘cause I know that the road is rough. I’ve reached the point where I’ve Finally had enough!

I’ve been seeing what’s right fly way out of sight, but I’m doing the best that I can (to) stay high above the low tide. Sand bagged and chained to the line. So I’ll spend my last days in a stoned, drunken haze. Praying for something to change. But the bug is spreading so fast. The truth, it don’t seem to last. You can’t sit there and deny the universal sigh when everything starts to crash. My oh my it’s hard to deny the universal sigh! My oh my it’s falling from the sky! The universal sigh. Now I’m closing both my eyes cause they’re pregnant with lies from the gilded man with no name. With money that pays for a throne. A shout from a golden phone. Oh the whole world’s gone hell! Put under a spell. A child’s claim to fame. My oh my it’s hard to deny the universal sigh! Oh my oh my it’s falling from the sky! The universal sigh The universal sigh It’s the universal sigh…

Best Thing 03:57
Coming in high above, or sinking below, you’re the best thing I ever seen. Stumbling down the road, or swerving side to side you’re the best thing I ever seen. There’s a wind blowing over the mountain and it’s coming after me. I’m setting my sights for the low country. From the voice of the wicked council came the order by decree. That the truth of man is considered blasphemy I’m feeling all alone. Trying to silence The voice in my head. There’s no kinder violence that I need today. Coming in high above, or sinking below, you’re the best thing I ever seen. It’s so easy to get lost on the back roads of my mind, cause the maps are changing pretty much all of the time. Should I turn away? Will I make it one more day and carry myself through the night? Cause I’m feeling all alone. Trying to silence the voices in my head. There’s no kinder violence that I need today. Coming in high above, or sinking below, you’re the best thing I ever seen. Stumbling down the road, or swerving side to side you’re the best thing I ever seen. Coming in high above, or sinking below, you’re the best thing I ever seen.

Hideaway Key 04:43
I’m coming home to you tonight. Cause all of the other plans that I made fell by the wayside, or started to fade. Will you leave your hideaway key for me tonight? I’ve been bitten by the boozing life. And I know that you fought it and you pushed me away “but i swear it’s the last time,” you’re sick of me saying. This time’s for real I swear it on my life. & I’ve been beating myself up for some time now. I’m searching around for a come down. But it’s easier to be this soaked up version of me than to deal with all of this shit that’s going down. So I’m coming home to you tonight I’ll turn all the lights off and close the shades. Put on an old record to help me escape. Oh please leave your hideaway key for me tonight.

Aboard a pelican and the midnight moon, there’s plenty of time to think about you. How it used to be so easy that the words would always write themselves. But the books on the shelf these days are hard to sell. And with the light in my eye from the mid day sun. There’s no where to go when you’re on the run. Because the running seems to lead me down a road that never has an end. But I guess that depends wherever you begin. Bow your head in sadness Bow your head in pain All that you’ve received (must be) Given back again Lift your head in gladness & receive the recompense A scent upon the summer rain A gift of common sense. (For) All I’ve ever given And as much as I could take From all the gifts of dreaming (and the) Moment I awake For everything I’ve promised And as much as I could give There’s nothing left to gather As long as I shall live. - Robert Hunter Aboard a pelican and the midnight moon, there’s plenty of time to think about you. How it used to be so easy that the words would always write themselves. But the books on the shelf these days are hard to sell.

Somewhere deep inside you a little hope survives. That keeps the train moving onward. But all the others around you, they got silver eyes. Unaware of the love you’re giving out. The Dead don’t hear me, but I’ll just play along. I need you near me, singing sweet angel death songs. Rain on the windows, cracks in the seats. We need a place where we can hide. Deep within canyons, or on a golden coast. Open up the box and look inside. The Dead, they don’t hear me, but I’ll just play along. I need you near me, singing sweet angel death songs.

Away From Me 02:36
Everybody wants to leave but I want to stay right here and never let this feeling go away from me. I don’t know what is to come I can’t see that far in front of me All I know is that things don’t look good for you and for me. Good times are forgotten and innocence it could not survive. Words are never taken serious. I can’t believe we’re still alive. Everybody wants to leave but I want to stay right here and never let this feeling go away from me…
